Refund policy

We want you to be happy with your copy of Lebanese Cuisine: The Authentic Cookbook. This policy explains your rights if you change your mind or if something arrives damaged. It applies to purchases from this shop, which is run by Alphafoodie Limited, 14 Adelaide Street, Oxford OX2 6EN, United Kingdom.

Changed your mind? 14 days to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive the book. To cancel, email us at admin@alphafoodie.com with your order number. You then have a further 14 days to send the book back to us.

Please return the book in the condition you received it, in its original packaging or similar protective packaging. You are responsible for the cost of return postage and for the book until it reaches us, so we recommend a tracked service. If the book has been handled more than would be necessary to look at it in a shop (for example, used in the kitchen or marked), we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value.

We will refund the price of the book and the standard delivery charge you paid, to your original payment method, within 14 days of receiving the book back (or of you providing proof of posting, if earlier).

Damaged, faulty or wrong item

If your book arrives damaged, faulty or is not what you ordered, please email admin@alphafoodie.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the problem. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you are entitled to a full refund, or we can send a replacement if you prefer, and we will cover the cost of returning the item. We will tell you how to return it before you post anything.

Lost in the post

All orders are sent by a tracked service. If your tracking shows no progress for more than 10 working days after dispatch, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier and send a replacement or refund.
